AGA Partners’ team has successfully represented clients' interests in arbitration of the Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations (FOSFA). The firm’s Lawyer Dmitry Koval, under the guidance of Partner Ivan Kasynyuk, represented the client.  

The essence of the dispute: buyer refused to accept goods and broke the contract referring to restrictions on imports into the Russian Federation that led to client’s losses amounting to $10 million. Currently, AGA Partners lawyers proved that FOSFA Tribunal has jurisdiction to consider the dispute. The Tribunal fully supported the legal position of our team, and also laid the arbitration costs on the respondent.

After this first victory the case is to progress to the substantive matter, and we will tell more about this next time.
